- Google Fonts — Our website loads fonts from Google's servers. This sends your IP address to Google's servers in the United States as part of each page load. Google Privacy Policy
- Hostinger — Our web hosting provider. Hostinger stores our primary server data in Canada, but as a company headquartered in Lithuania with global infrastructure, certain operational data (backups, control panel access, support systems) may be processed internationally. Hostinger Privacy Policy
We do not control these third-party services' privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies to understand how they handle your data.
7. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Royal Stream IPTV Canada is based in Montreal, Quebec, and our primary servers are located in Canada. However, several of our third-party service providers — including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, PayPal, Stripe, and Cloudflare — are headquartered in the United States and may process your personal information on servers located outside of Canada.
Under Quebec Law 25, we are required to inform you when your personal information is communicated outside of Quebec, and to take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection.
Before sharing personal information with these US-based providers, we have assessed their data protection practices, including:
- The legal and regulatory environment of the country where they operate
- The technical and administrative safeguards they maintain
- Their contractual commitments to protect personal data
All of our third-party providers are established companies subject to US privacy regulations and maintain industry-standard security certifications. Where applicable, we rely on contractual safeguards such as data processing agreements to ensure your information is handled responsibly.

8. Data Storage and Security
Our primary account and subscription data is stored on servers located in Canada. However, some of your personal information may also be processed by our third-party service providers on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States — such as Google Analytics, PayPal, Stripe, Cloudflare, WhatsApp, and Google Fonts. These cross-border transfers are described in Section 7. We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS protocols
- Restricted access to personal information on a need-to-know basis
- Password hashing and account security controls
- Cloudflare-based DDoS protection and firewall controls
- Regular security reviews of our systems and practices
No security system is completely impenetrable. While we take strong precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. In the event of a breach, we follow the notification procedures described in Section 11.
9. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide our services, and to comply with our legal obligations. Specific retention periods:
- Active subscriber accounts: Retained for the duration of your subscription.
- Cancelled or expired accounts: Retained for 24 months after your last subscription period ends.
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years in accordance with Canadian tax and financial record-keeping requirements (CRA).
- Support communications: Retained for 24 months from the date of last communication.
- Website analytics data: Identifiable analytics data subject to Google Analytics' default retention settings (14 months). Aggregated/anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.
- Confidentiality incident records: Minimum 5 years as required by Quebec Law 25.
Once the applicable retention period expires, personal information is securely deleted or anonymized.
10. Your Rights
As a user of our service, you have the following rights regarding your personal information.
Rights Under PIPEDA (All Canadian Users)
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correction: Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information.

- Right to de-indexing: Request suppression of personal information published online through our services, where technically feasible.
- Right to data portability: Request your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV), where technically feasible.
- Right to know about automated decisions: Be informed if we make automated decisions using your personal information and request human review.
- Right to complain to the CAI: File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec at cai.gouv.qc.ca or 1-888-528-7741.
To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@royalstreamiptv.com. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and respond fully within 30 days. We may verify your identity before processing your request.
11. Breach Notification and Confidentiality Incident Register
A confidentiality incident occurs when personal information is accessed, used, communicated, copied, modified, or destroyed without authorization.
How We Respond to Incidents
- Assessment: We immediately assess the nature, scope, and likely consequences of the incident.
- Notification to authorities: If the incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the CAI within 72 hours as required by Quebec Law 25.
- Notification to affected individuals: We notify affected individuals without unreasonable delay by email.
- Containment and remediation: We take immediate steps to contain the incident and prevent recurrence.
Confidentiality Incident Register
As required by Quebec Law 25, we maintain an internal Confidentiality Incident Register recording: the date and nature of each incident, personal information involved, number of individuals affected, whether regulatory notification was made, and remediation steps taken. This register is retained for a minimum of 5 years and is available to regulatory authorities upon request.
12. Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
Under Quebec Law 25, we conduct a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) before implementing any new project, system, or technology that involves personal information. PIAs are conducted when:
- Implementing new software, platforms, or data systems
- Introducing new third-party service providers that will process personal information
- Launching new features or services that involve significant personal data collection
- Transferring personal information to a third party outside Quebec for the first time
PIAs are reviewed and approved by our Privacy Officer prior to implementation.
13. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at privacy@royalstreamiptv.com and we will delete the information promptly.
Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should have a parent or guardian review this Privacy Policy before subscribing.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
